What Rosalind Hursthouse View On Abortion
HELLO: My name is Francisco
Miguel Galán Bustillos, I am a professor of Biology and Geology at the Good Shepherd College in courses of 1, 3 º ESO and Biology 2 º de Bachillerato. This blog will serve to make some additional work done in the classroom.
way of presentation I have a funny anecdote that shows us how a good scientist learns from its mistakes:
Horace Walpole said that "in science, errors always precede the truth." This is what happened to the German-Swiss chemist Christian Friedrich Schönbein.
One day I was working in the kitchen, which his wife was strictly forbidden, and was experimenting with sulfuric acid and Nitric suddenly spilled some of the mixture on the kitchen table. Was in trouble because I knew that when his wife saw that it would experience some form of "adversity." Quickly took a cotton apron, wiped the liquid and hung the apron near the fire to dry.
Suddenly there was a violent explosion. Obviously, the cellulose in cotton experienced a process called nitration.
inadvertently invented the nitrocellulose Schönbein which became known as smokeless powder.
